Chinatown
This photo was taken into a window in Chinatown, NYC. I like that you can see both the New York City street and the trinkets that Chinatown is known for selling. The waving gold cat ( I don't know if there's a real name for that) and the Statue of Liberty figurines create a nice juxtaposition of Chinese and American heritages which collide in the few blocks that make up Chinatown. These seemingly floating symbols of two cultures also create a nice symbolism of the useless things of which materialism is made.
